This design is heavily inspired by the upcoming eclipse. The black base allows the outfit to be suitable for both daytime and nighttime wear. The moons on the skirt were added since it will be the eclipse of the sun and moon, the gold jewelry that symbolizes the sun. The design on the right is the more casual version; the mini skirt helps add color if all black isn't for you.
